يارب صلى وسلم دائما أبدا
My Lord send blessing and peace
always and forever
على النبى وأهل البيت كلهم
On the Prophet and his household
all of them
َتابت ُنفُوسُ الهَوَى من نُور مشهَدهَم
Souls repented of desire from
the light of their presence
فيرجعُون به عن سوءٍ فِعلهمِ
So they return with it from the evil of their deeds
مَازال سُّرُهم يِشفِى مُحِبّهم
Their secret still heals their lovers
حتى أروُه الهوى فى حَيز العدَم
Until desire is extinguished in the realm of non-existence
وَدوا لُكل محبّ أن يكوَن علَى
They wish for every lover to walk
نهج ِالشرَيعة نهجاً غير منفصمِ
On the path of the Sharia, an unbroken way
تِمضِى الليالى عليهم فى حَياتِهم
Nights pass over them in their lives
وهُمُ ركوُع بها أو فى سُجوِدهِم
While they are in prostration or bowing
كأنمَا الليلُ ضيف جاءَ عندهمُ
As if night is a guest come to them
يَقروُنه بتَسابيحٍ لربهِم
They honor it with glorifications to their Lord
يجر دمُعهم من فوق خدهّمِ
Their tears flow from above their cheeks
خطاَ من النُور فيه خشيةُ الحَكَمِ
Lines of light in them, fear of the Judge
مِن خوفهم من إله العرش خاِلِقنا
From their fear of the Lord of the Throne, our Creator
وكم لهم سادتى حج على القدمِ
And how many pilgrimages
my masters, on foot for them
حتى أتَوٌا نحو مصرٍ جاءهُم زُمراً
Until they came toward Egypt, crowds arriving
أحَبابُهم من كُهول مع عيالَهمِ
Their beloved ones, elders with their families
مكفُولُة أبداً أحبابُهم بهمِ
Their beloveds eternally guaranteed by them
فُهم كراُم ومن يدرِى بِهم يَهمِ
They are noble, and whoever knows them reveres them
هم خيُر عربٍ وهُم أهلُ العباِء وهُم
They are the best of Arabs, people of the cloak, they
أهلُ الفَضائل فى الدُنيا على الأمِم
Are people of virtues in the world over nations
وسَل جمَيعَ الورَى عنُهم فليس ترَى
Ask all people about them, you will not see
فى الّناس من مُؤمنٍ يهوىَ لبُغضهمِمِ
Among people a believer who loves to hate them
الُمُِصِدرى البيضِ فى الكُفاّرِ قاطبةً
The white swords among disbelievers, decisive
ضرَباً على عُنُقٍ ضرَبًا على اللّمَمِ
Striking necks, striking the persistent
والكاتبون لقول الله فى صُحفٍِ
And the writers of God's word in scrolls
والقائمُون بدين طيّب الشِيِمِ
And those upholding the religion of noble character
شَاكِ وباكِ على أبواَبَهم وجلاً
Weeping and fearful at their doors
أرجُو القُبول من الَموَلى بجَاهِهِمِ
Hoping acceptance from the Lord by their status
تُهدى أليك قُلوُب العاشقِين لهم
Hearts of lovers are guided to you
مدحا بديعا فلازم ذكِر مدحهِم
With wondrous praise, so cling to their praise's remembrance
فأنُهم عِند ذِكرِىِ فى مدَائَحهم
For they are present at my mention in their praises
فى حَضرَة المدحِ فاغَنم من حُضُورهِمِ
In the presence of praise, so seize their presence
طارت َلهُم كُلّ روحٍ كانَ مسكنُها
Every soul that dwelt with them flew to them
بقُربهم أزلاً فى عالمِ القِدمِ
In eternal nearness in the world of pre-eternity
ومنَ يكن مُبعداً فالآن مُبتعدُ
And whoever was distant is now remote
عنهُم وليس له شُغل ُ بشأنِهِمِ
From them, with no concern for their affairs
ولنَ ترى من مُحب ّغير مُنتفعٍ
You will not see a lover unbenefited
بهم ولا من عدوَ غير مُنهَزمِ
By them, nor an enemy unvanquished
أحَلَ حُبهمُ قوماً بدارهمِ
Their love settled people in their homes
فمأَ تَحنّ ُ إلى الأبناء والحشَمِ
So they no longer yearn for children or retinue
كم من مُقيمين طُول اليوم عَندهُمُ
How many residents all day with them
ذِكرُ الجلاَلَة يجرى فى لسانهِم
Remembrance of Majesty flows on their tongues
كَفاك أنهمُ أبناء فَاطمةٍ
It suffices that they are sons of Fatimah
وبُشُّرُوا بجِنان ٍ فى حديثهمِ
And they were promised gardens in their hadith
واذكر خديجهَ لا تنسى فضائلها
And mention Khadijah
do not forget her virtues
جبريل بشرهَا بالقصر والنّعمِ
Gabriel gave her glad tidings of palaces and blessings
واذكر لفاطمةٍ بنت الحُسين كذا
And mention Fatimah, daughter of Al-Husayn, thus
سُكينةُ الحلمِ أسرع نحو حيّهِمَِ
Sukaynah of patience, hastening toward their life
كذاكَ تاليةُ القرآن ِ سيدتى
Like that, my lady the Quran reciter
نفَيسةُ ُالعلمِ ذات السّر والحكمِ
Nafisah of knowledge, possessor of secret and wisdom
كذاكَ عائشةُ من بعدِ عَائشهُ
Like Aishah after Aishah
وكُل سيدةٍ فى الحل ََّوالحَرم
And every lady in the lawful and sacred
واذكرُ لمريم من طابت سريرُتها
And mention Maryam whose conduct was pure
قد شُرفت بخُلود ٍ نحو عَدنهمِ
Honored with eternity toward their paradise
يارب فارض َ عليهم دائماً أبداً
O Lord, be pleased with them always forever
بحق َ طه َ وبالإسراء والقلَمِ
By the right of Taha, the Isra, and the Pen
وَافتح عليناَ بخَيرٍ منك يا أملَىِ
And open upon us good from You, O my hope
بحق زين ٍ وزيدٍ جعفرِ العَلمِ
By the right of Zayn, Zayd, and Ja'far of knowledge
وزدهمُ شرفاً وامنحهمُ كرماً
Increase them in honor, grant them generosity
ورقَّهَم بدوام الخير ِوالكرمِ
And elevate them with enduring good and nobility
يارب صلى وسلم دائما أبدا
