Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him.
O believers! Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace.
For nearly three years, we had the privilege of engaging in discussions with dozens of devoted lovers of our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
There is no goodness except that its foundation is sending salawat upon the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
Praise be to Allah, who granted us the honor of sitting in their presence and learning from them.
Our hearts are devoted to that most noble master.
O Allah, send Your blessings upon our master Muhammad and his family.
A prayer that fills the treasures of the heavens and the earth with light.
And make it for us and for the believers a source of relief and joy.
You have granted us, in this world, a means to connect with our master, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
The Prophet carried the trust of the entire Ummah, not just those who lived in his time.
The trust of the Ummah extends from its beginning to its end, until the Trumpet is blown.
However, it was His divine will that we bid farewell to the esteemed scholar and hadith master of Alexandria, Muhammad Ibrahim Abdul-Ba'ith al-Kattani.
Just a few months later, we also mourned the loss of the revered Imam of Norwich, UK, Sheikh Abd al-Sabur
May Allah have mercy on them both. He knows that in them, we witnessed a living embodiment of the noble character of our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
Therefore, our Lord did not make his role end with his passing; rather, he said, "My life is a blessing for you."
And how could it be otherwise, when they were among the devoted followers of Dalāʾil al-Khayrāt
and those who abundantly invoked blessings upon him! (peace and blessings be upon him and his family)
O Allah, send Your blessings, peace, and grace upon the one whose name is our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
O Allah, send Your blessings, peace, and grace upon the one whose name is our master Ahmad (peace and blessings be upon him).
O Allah, send Your blessings, peace, and grace upon the one whose name is our master Hamid (peace and blessings be upon him).
Dalil Al-Khayrāt (The Guide to Goodness) Episode 30
The Great Reward of Sending Blessings Upon the Beloved
We reflected deeply on how to conclude this journey—an honor bestowed upon us by Allah, who allowed us to speak about our master, the noblest and most exalted of all creation
Then, Allah inspired us with a profound realization: there can be no true conclusion to speaking about him (peace and blessings be upon him),
for his virtues, character, life, and perfection are infinite. His beauty and majesty transcend description, and no words can ever fully encompass him.
"We are present in the Garden of the Messenger,
seeking his pleasure
and a gracious acceptance.
We have come to you, O best of those who are sought for refuge,
in humility and submission,
and in awe.
My journey with sending blessings upon our Master Muhammad began when I was diagnosed with cancer.
I decided not to continue chemotherapy after just one session.
I felt how difficult chemotherapy was on the body from the inside.
I’ve been reading Dala’il al-Khayrat daily for a year now.
It gives me a sense of elevation and fills me with light.
Flashes of insight come to me.
You begin to understand the value of our Master Muhammad.
Why does Allah honor and elevate this Prophet?
Because everything here exists because of him.
that’s when the love started
If a person in this modern age commits to sending prayers ten times in the morning and ten times in the evening,
it will truly bear fruit and bring benefit. I believe this will create a passion to send more and more prayers upon the Prophet.
"Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book." (Quran 5:15)
O Allah, send blessings upon our beloved master.
Our Master, Al-Mahi (the Effacer of disbelief, may peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, Al-Hashir (the Gatherer).
Our master, Al-‘Aqib (the Last Prophet),may peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, Ta-Ha.
Our master, Ya-Sin, may peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, Al-Tahir (the Pure).
Our master, Al-Mutahhar (the Purified),may peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
I met a man from the Kazmoz family in Damascus who had passed away.
By God’s grace, whenever I looked at him, I saw radiance, brightness, and an extraordinary light in his face.
I asked his teacher about him, and he told me that this man had a daily practice of sending prayers upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
approximately eighteen thousand times each day.
Our Master Uthman used to recite the entire Quran in a single rak‘ah (prayer unit).
God blesses such people with time. This man would continuously move his lips in prayer upon the Prophet.
He once said to me, “Pray that I die while sending prayers upon the Prophet.”
“That I enter my grave while sending prayers upon the Prophet, and that I am resurrected while sending prayers upon the Prophet.”
“That I enter Paradise while sending prayers upon the Prophet.”
He told me, “It’s not just for the reward and blessings, I love sending prayers upon the Prophet.”
"When you recognize the blessing of Allah upon you through our master Muhammad (peace be upon him),"
"Your love for Allah increases, as Imam Al-Shafi'i (may Allah be pleased with him) says,
"In his book 'Al-Risalah,' at the beginning of his message, he says: 'No blessing has come to us, whether apparent or hidden,"
"That has granted us success in religion, this world, or both, except that it is due to our master Muhammad (peace be upon him), the guide to its goodness.'"
"The one who saves us from destruction and evil sources."
"Through this knowledge, this love and reverence are born."
"When you learn the reverence that Allah, the Exalted, has for His Messenger (peace be upon him)."
"But some people below him say, 'We cannot say the word Muhammad.'"
"He cannot be called Muhammad without the title of mastership."
O Allah, send blessings upon the one who is our master, the Messenger of Mercy.
Our Master, Qayyim (the Upright Guardian).
Our master, Jami‘ (the Unifier).
Our Master, Muqtafī (the One Who Follows the Prophets).
Our Master, Muqaffā (the Seal of the Prophets).
Our master, the Messenger of Battles.
Our master, the Messenger of Relief.
Our master, Kamil (the Perfect One).
Our Master, Iklil (the Crown),may peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
Who introduced us to Allah? Who guided us to Allah? Do we expect to approach Allah, the Almighty?
without passing through the door of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him? That would be disrespectful and ungrateful.
So if we want to raise our needs to Allah, the Almighty,
remember that Allah is the deity, Allah is the responder, and Allah is the closest, we must show respect to the Messenger of Allah.
Forget about his status in this world, which is beyond description, but his status on the Day of Judgment,
and on the Day of Judgment, the sun of his rank will shine.
He will be honored on the Day of Judgment.
He will have the Praiseworthy Station, the promised position, and the greatest intercession.
He will be a shield from the great anger on that day, when the Most Merciful will be angry.
No creation will have any means to seek intercession to avert the wrath of Allah, Exalted is He, except the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
Who has been able to confine and articulateThe greatness that Allah has given to our Master, the Messenger of Allah?
Everything connected to him rises in status.
Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Since we were young, in the Quranic school, we used to read the Quran, and they taught us verses of poetry.
Muhammad is a human, but not like other humans,
His status among humans is like
the status of a ruby among stones.
And how can his true essence be known in this world?
A people asleep, entertained by dreams of him,
He is the one whose meaning and image were perfected,
Then Allah chose him as a beloved, the Creator of all beings.
He is free from any partner in his virtues; his beauty is undivided.
Ignore what the Christians claim about their Prophet, and praise him however you wish.
Attribute to his essence any honor you like,
And attribute to his status any greatness you wish.
For the virtue of the Messenger of Allah has no limit,
No speaker can fully express it with his tongue.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
O you who are covered up! (1) Arise and warn! (2)
And glorify your Lord! (3) And purify your garments
And shun all impurity! (5) And do not give expecting more in return! (6) And be patient for the sake of your Lord! (7)
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, Al-Muddaththir and Al-Muzzammil, and grant him peace and his family.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one who is our master, the Servant of Allah and the Beloved of Allah.
And the Chosen One of Allah, the Intimate of Allah, and the Speaker with Allah. May peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
The moment the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is mentioned,
we are filled with reverence.
Then, beyond that,
we marvel, by Allah’s will, at our love for him and at being part of his community, peace and blessings be upon him,
because he is profoundly merciful, merciful, merciful.
I will never forget one day
when one of the European philosophers embraced Islam.
He said to me, “It’s a shame that you haven’t shown us the image of the Prophet’s mercy.”
“You have shown us negative images that have distanced us from appreciating this beauty.”
He told me, “When I read about the beloved Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, I loved him.”
“I found that he loved me, so I embraced Islam.”
because he has tasted the beauty of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.”
This is the beauty that shapes this nation: “And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.”
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the Prophet of Mercy.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the Prophet of Repentance.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the One who is deeply concerned for you, and grant him peace and his family.
May Allah’s peace be upon him.
May Allah’s peace be upon him, may Allah’s peace be upon him.
In "Dala'il al-Khayrat" (Proofs of Good Deeds book), we find the use of superlative terms
in the prayers.
There is no one, creation, or creature
Or in the universe, nothing but Allah,
to whom "best" can be attributed in anything except our master Muhammad.
The best to hear, the best to make others hear.
The best to see, the best to be seen.
The best to speak, the best to address others.
The best to guide.
The best who read the Qur'an.
The best who teach creation.
The best husband.
The best father.
The best son.
The best in everything.
"Best" is for the Messenger of Allah.
All the attributes of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, are beloved.
Because he is the perfect human being.
And indeed, you are of a great moral character.
All the attributes of the Prophet, peace be upon him, are beloved.
As the poet said: To the axis of the world, whose virtues are so great, that if
I praised the people of the world for his favor, his virtues alone would be enough.
From strength, generosity, and goodness,
all rely on his noble qualities for sustenance.
And like the sea, from whichever side you approach it,
its waves are generosity, and its shores are kindness.
There is no one with Allah
more honorable than the Messenger, peace be upon him.
From this, we learn that the Prophet, peace be upon him,
is a complete creation.
He has no flaws.
There is no perfection in anyone else.
Allah has distributed His blessings among His servants.
Indeed, Allah has treasures, and their keys are men.
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, has all these treasures.
Everyone who gives, gives from what he has.
Our hearts are attached to that noble master.
He was a complete servant.
Even before the Prophethood, he was perfect.
A perfect human being.
After revelation, he became a divine human.
After the Isra, he elevated and became luminous.
He became light.
Our religious leaders, when they reciting the verse from Surat An-Nur:
“Allah guides to His light whom He wills.”
They interpret "His light" as referring to him, peace be upon him.
The religious leaders,
send blessings upon the Prophet while mentioning the pronoun in "His light."
The Light of Allah—who is the Light of Allah?
It is the Prophet, peace be upon him.
Because Allah made him a light through which He guides whomever He wills.
O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness, a bringer of good tidings, and a warner.
And as one who invites to Allah, by His permission, and as an illuminating lamp.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the beloved, our master, the well-known.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the famous one, our master, the witness.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the martyr, our master, the one who is witnessed.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the bearer of glad tidings, our master, the giver of good news.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the warner, our master, the one who warns.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the light, our master, the radiant lamp.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the lamp, our master, the guide.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the rightly guided, our master, the radiant one.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master, the caller, our master, the one who is called.
Every time I sit alone, I reflect on one hadith.
Many of us say, "O Messenger of Allah, we love you."
But think about when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Mu'adh!"
"I love you." How did Mu'adh spend that night
It is indescribable.
The Messenger is saying to you, "O Mu'adh, I love you."
May Allah grant us His love.
The eyes long to be filled with the noble presence of the Prophet.
And to adorn the eyes with that radiant sight.
So the eyes yearn to see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
And one wishes to see him in a dream.
And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him...
Those eyes long to see the Prophet.
This is proof that the body longs for the Messenger of Allah.
For the eyes are a part of the body.
The eyes long to touch something the Messenger of Allah touched
To touch a strand of the Prophet’s blessed hair (peace and blessings be upon him).
That is why
When you see a lover yearning to behold the Prophet in a dream,
and beyond that, longing to see him in wakefulness as well,
and further, desiring to visit him at his noble resting place and blessed chamber
and beyond that, whose very soul is deeply attached—indeed, all these are innate elements,
woven into human nature, each possessing a share in the Messenger of Allah.
A longing of the self that seeks its fulfillment through journeying,
a yearning of the soul that remains ever connected to that beauty,
and a desire of the eye that wishes to behold him in dreams.
If one sees him in a dream, the Beloved assures him that he shall see him in wakefulness,
and that this wakeful vision will be a glad tiding that he is among those granted intercession,
and among those who will drink from the Prophet’s blessed fountain.
O Allah, grant us the blessing of seeing him—both in dreams and in wakefulness, in body, in spirit, in soul,
and in every part of our being that You have created with a share in the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
O my beloved, O Muhammad
O my beloved, O Muhammad
O my beloved, O Muhammad
And blessings be upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
Sending blessings upon the Prophet is a great matter; if his virtue is evident to you, then serving him becomes an obligation upon you.
O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and upon the family of our master Muhammad, a blessing that inclines his heart toward mine.
And extends his secret to my secret until my flaws disappear.
O Allah, make me beloved to him and make him beloved to me, and lift the veil between us so that I may see him as Allah wills.
However, through abundant blessings upon him, love for the Messenger of Allah must become firmly rooted in your heart.
For us, Dalā’il al-Khayrāt project is not just a 30-episode program that ends once it airs.
Rather, it is an ongoing effort to connect lovers of the Prophet—regardless of their location, gender, or age—to the Dalīl al-Khayrāt, our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
With each episode, we provided written and visual resources to reinforce its theme.
We launched daily live recitations of Dalā’il al-Khayrāt to encourage consistent salawat upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
aiming to establish an unbroken cycle of blessings across time zones so that prayers upon him continue around the world, every hour, in every place.
We also made simplified books available as introductions to the life of our Master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and to promote frequent salawat.
We have also developed and continue to offer diverse programs that deepen this sacred connection with our noble Dalīl al-Khayrāt (peace and blessings be upon him).
Our goal is to foster goodwill among all Muslims, bringing us together under the banner of our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), regardless of our differences.
Diversity is a divine decree, but despite our varying perspectives, we remain united in facing the same qiblah. We must not condemn or excommunicate one another.
All Muslims agree that our Master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is not divine, that there is no god but Allah,
and that this testimony is only complete with the declaration: Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
When we sat with the scholars, we found that in order to study an issue
we must gather all the verses related to the topic
As well as all the hadiths on the subject
Then, we examine the scholars’ interpretations
Along with the linguistic implications
And the differences among jurists in deriving evidence from these sources
The process is extensive
It is not simply a matter of someone asking, "What is the evidence?" and responding with, "Allah said" and "The Prophet said."
It also involves understanding how rulings are deducted from the text
Taking into account this prior understanding
While also considering the well-being of people in their worldly aff
While also considering the well-being of people in their worldly aff
Thus, I do not derive a ruling that disrupts people's lives
Religion is revealed to beautify our life and make it easier
Not to burden or alienate us
We were also taught to think well of the entire nation of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Even the sinner
The sanctity of a Muslim—whether obedient or sinful, whether he agrees with me or not—is as sacred as the Ka‘bah itself.
Moreover, we were taught not to judge people by their outward appearance
A person may have shortcomings in one area
but there may be other virtues we ignore
He may be dutiful to his parents, though we are unaware of it
He may have compassion in his heart
He may care for an orphan
He may be supporting a family
He may be committed to earning a lawful livelihood
Refusing to take anything unlawful, even in private
Never extending his hand to it
This understanding teaches us to think well of every Muslim, even if we notice flaws in certain aspects.
Thus, I excuse his shortcomings and remind myself: Perhaps there is goodness in him that I do ignore.
Pay attention to what the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) told us
A woman, a prostitute from the Children of Israel, entered Paradise because she gave water to a dog
Is there a sin greater than prostitution?
Yet despite that, Allah admitted her to Paradise because of the compassion in her heart
Compassion for a mere creature—an animal. And not just any animal, but a dog!
So what then of someone who shows compassion to a fellow human being?
While the degrees, expressions, and applications of love for him may differ, the foundation remains the same: Lā ilāha illa Allah, Muhammadun Rasūl Allah.
This testimony, as our intercessor (peace and blessings be upon him) taught, safeguards us from the Fire—and it should also inspire us to hold goodwill toward one another.
Allah is the Lord of hearts, as people say
A heart may hold love for the Beloved (peace be upon him),
Regret for its shortcomings
Respect for scholars
Reverence for the elderly
Compassion for the young
Allah sees all of this.
These are acts of worship hidden within the heart, unseen by others
But fully known to Allah.
This is what we learned from our scholars
That is why they always remind us: Leave creation to the Creator.
Do not be hasty in judging a Muslim
Think well of all Muslims
A sinful Muslim deserves to be covered, not exposed—never disgrace him
And when you offer advice, do so privately, between you and him.
Do not admonish him publicly and humiliate him
These simple principles allow one to seek religion while keeping a heart full of gentleness and mercy.
Because when you pursue knowledge—whether religious or otherwise—without compassion and mercy
Because when you pursue knowledge—whether religious or otherwise—without compassion and mercy
in your heart, knowledge breeds arrogance.
It makes you feel superior to others
As if you are better because you know while they do not
But when you seek knowledge with compassion, humility, and the willingness to excuse others
But when you seek knowledge with compassion, humility, and the willingness to excuse others
It only increases you in humility.
O Allah, I ask You by the fact that You are my Master, my Lord, my Guardian, my Trust, and my Hope.
I ask You by the sanctity of the sacred month, the sacred land, and the sacred site.
And by the grave of Your Prophet, peace be upon him, that You grant me of goodness what none knows but You.
And that You keep away from me of harm what none knows but You.
O Allah, You who granted Adam his son Seth, and to Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac.
And returned Joseph to Jacob, and You who removed the suffering from Job.
And You who returned Moses to his mother, and increased Al-Khidr in knowledge.
And You who granted David his son Solomon, and to Zechariah, John, and to Mary, Jesus.
And You who protected the daughter of Shu'ayb.
I ask You to send blessings upon our master Muhammad and upon all the prophets and messengers.
And You who granted our master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, intercession and the highest rank.
That You forgive my sins, conceal all my faults, and grant me refuge from the Hellfire.
And grant me Your pleasure, security, forgiveness, and kindness.
And allow me to enjoy Paradise with those whom You have blessed— the prophets and the truthful.
And the martyrs and the righteous. Indeed, You are capable of all things.
And for as long as every soul tastes death. Convey peace to the people of peace in the Abode of Peace, as a greeting and peace.
Since we cannot conclude our discourse on our Master, Dalīl al-Khayrāt (the Guide to Goodness), may peace and blessings be upon him,
we have chosen to follow the example of Imam al-Jazūlī, who began his work by compiling the noble names of our Master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Thus, rather than ending these episodes, we embark on a continuous journey, sustained by Allah’s grace and generosity.
With weekly episodes every Friday
we will present new discussions and interviews, ensuring that we build upon what we have started.
Our aim is to contribute, even in a small way, to the continuous remembrance and sending of blessings upon the best of creation, our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
So, we do not say farewell, but rather, until we meet again, by Allah’s will. May peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
We invoked Salawat on the Prophet (peace be upon him) more than 276 times in this episode.
