يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَ سَلَّمْ دَائِماً أَبَداً
O My Lord send blessing and peace,
always and forever
عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَ أَهْلِ البَيْتِ كُلِّهِم
On the Prophet and his household, all of them
يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ جَاءَتِ الزُّوَّارُ قَاصِدَةً
O best of those whom visitors come seeking
ضَرِيحَهُمْ نَحْوَ مِصْرٍ نَحْوَ مَجْدِهِم
Their graves in Egypt towards their glory
وَمَنْ هُمُوا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ سَيِّدِنَا
They are those who are from
the Messenger of Allah our master
وَمَنْ هُمُو نِعْمَةٌ مِنْ وَاهِبِ الحِكَمِ
They are those who are a blessing
from the Bestower of wisdom
سَرَيْتُ مِنْ بَلَدٍ أَسْعَى إِلَى بَلَدٍ
I travelled striving from one city to another
حَتَّى أَتَيْتُ إِلَيْهِمْ فِي دِيَارِهِم
Until I come to them in their abodes
وَبِتَّ فِي جَبَلٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ جَبَل
Struggling through mountain after mountain
أَرْجُو الإِلَهَ شُهُوداً فِي جَمَالِهِم
Hoping in the Divine to witness their beauty
وَأَنْتَ يَا حَسَنٌ يَا رَحْمَةً ظَهَرَتْ
And you, O Hasan, O mercy manifest
وَيَا حُسَيْنُ الَّذِي بِالذِّكْرِ لَمْ يَنَمِ
And O Husayn, the one who remained awake with dhikr
إِلَيْكُمَا الجِسْمُ بِالْقَلْبِ العَلِيلِ أَتَى
To you two, in body and heart, do the sick come
فَنَظْرَةً مِنْكُمَا تَجْلُو مِنَ العَتَمِ
Looking at you they become polished from the darkness
وَقَدَّمَتْكَ أَيَا قَلْبِي مَحَبَّتُهُمْ
O my heart, my love of them has driven you
إِلَى الضَّرِيحِ فَسَلَّمْ عِنْدَ بَابِهِم
To the resting place, so greet them at their door
حَتَّى تَنَالَ مِنَ الرِّضْوَانِ غَايَتَهُ
Until you receive the utmost degree of pleasure
فَهُمْ كِرَامٌ وَإِنِّي مِنْ ضُيُوفِهِم
They are generous and indeed I am among their guests
خَفَضْتُ كُلَّ جَنَاحٍ عِنْدَ مَشْهَدِهِمْ
I humbled myself at their assembly
وَزَالَ كُلُّ جِمَاجٍ مِنْ مُرِيدِهِم
And every defiance is removed from their seekers
كَيْمَا أَفُوزَ بِوَصْلٍ مِنْهُمُوا أَبَداً
In order that I am successful in
being connected to them forever
يَا رَبِّ فَامْنُنْ عَلَى قَلْبِي بِوَصْلِهِم
O Lord, bless my heart with attachment to them
فَحُرْتُ مِنْ مَدْحِهِمْ شَيْئاً أَكُونُ بِهِ
I achieve, by praising them, something which by it I am
لَدَى النَّبِيِّ قَرِيباً يَوْمَ حَشْرِهِم
Near to the Prophet on the day of their Gathering
وَجَلَّ مِقْدَارُهُمْ عَمَّا أَتَيْتُ بِهِ
And their value is manifest greater than what I brought
وَإِنَّنِي جَاهِلٌ حَقًّا بِحَقِّهِم
As indeed I am ignorant of the reality of their rank
بُشْرَى لِزُوَّارِهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ نَاحِيَةٍ
Glad tidings to their visitors from every direction
بُشْرَى وَطُوبَى لِمَنْ يَأْتُونَ فِي الظُّلَمِ
Glad tidings and goodness
for those who come in darkness
لَمَّا عَلِمْنَا رِضًا البَارِى بِحُبِّهِم
When we knew the pleasure of al-Bari in loving them
جِئْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ وَقَدْ هِمْنَا بِمَدْحِهِم
We came to them and strove in praising them
